25th Jubilee Highlights - June 11, 2022

Dear Friends in Christ:

     It is truly with praise and thanksgiving to Almighty God that I am most grateful for 25 years of service as a priest! I am humbled that the Lord chose me for service as a priest to model my life after Christ the Good Shepherd.

     There are many expressions of sincere appreciation and gratitude that are in my heart: to my parents for their love, sacrifices and support. To Father Mike Zavage for the beautiful homily from the heart. To Bishop Zubik and my brother priests and deacons, the blessings of these years have been ministering with them in service of the people of God, I am grateful for their fraternity. To those in consecrated life and the lay faithful with whom I have been privileged to serve in ministry over these years, the dedication and service to the Church is an inspiration! And to all whom I have come to know and love in all seven of my priestly assignments over these 25 years!

     To all who provided for the Silver Jubilee Mass of Thanksgiving: to our parish staff members, our diocesan seminarians who served as Masters of Ceremonies, our talented choir members who helped us to raise our voices in song and prayer under the direction of Jane Chmiel, together with Jennifer Chmiel Reedy, Mathias Hirst, Sandy Behana on the trumpet, and Dr. John Kallis on the guitar. To our altar servers, readers, greeters and ushers; to Rita Milchovich our devoted sacristan. To the Knights of Columbus 4^th Degree Color Corp for their presence and to the Knights of Columbus Council 5826 and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas!

     Special words of appreciation and gratitude to the leaders and members of our Social & Outreach Organization in providing the most amazing and wonderful reception and dinner in Drexel Hall! And to all who donated the fabulous cookies!

     Finally, to all who work behind the scenes daily, I truly appreciate your dedication and service to our parish!
