Father Don Chortos, retired priest in residence at our partner parishes, has requested Bishop Zubik to move to Saint John Vianney Manor – a residence for retired priests and the Bishop has granted Farther Don’s request. Father Don feels it would be more beneficial for him to reside at Saint John Vianney Manor to aid him in his time of illness. Father Don moved to his new residence this past week.
Father Don has faithfully served the parish of Saint Katharine Drexel since October 2018 and Saint James Parish since January 2023. We are ever so grateful for Father Don’s ministry among us, for his beautiful homilies, devoted pastoral care of the sick, and the many ways he has brought us closer to Jesus. We offer our continued prayers and best wishes for Father Don.
