• (Attend the First Holy Communion Parent Meeting on March 3, 2025.)
"The Eucharist is at the heart of 'Christian initiation', together with Baptism and Confirmation, and it constitutes the source of the Church’s life itself. From this Sacrament of love, in fact, flows every authentic journey of faith, of communion, and of witness."
First Holy Communion is, without question, a time of great joy. The saints in heaven, who are delighted to intercede for us, are celebrating along with your family.
St. Mother Teresa also has words for you and your family: "Jesus has made Himself the Bread of Life to give us life. Night and day, He is there. If you really want to grow in love, come back to the Eucharist...”
The Holy Mass is the premier preparation for students preparing for First Eucharist.
The Mass is the memorial of the sacrifice Jesus offered God the Father at the Last Supper. During that meal, Jesus instituted the Eucharist and told his followers, “Do this in memory of Me.”
The Mass is the heart and soul of our worship of God. It is the celebration that gives us the strength we need to live a Christian life. Because of its importance the Church places a serious obligation on all its members to take part in Mass each Sunday and on Holy Days.
In our Catholic Partner Parishes, First Holy Communion is usually celebrated the last Sunday of April and the first Sunday of May with celebrations at both Partner Parishes.
