Welcome Deacon Tim Counihan to Saint James Parish

Saturday, October 5, 2024 was a glorious day for the Church of Pittsburgh as Bishop Zubik ordained nine new permanent deacons! Bishop Zubik has appointed one of the permanent deacons to Saint James Parish!
Deacon Tim Counihan is a member of Saint Oscar Romero Parish in the Canonsburg area. Deacon Tim is an environmental health and safety manager for Vibrantz Technologies, Inc. Deacon Tim has a bachelor's degree in safety management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Deacon Tim and his wife, Betsy, have two children ages 23 and 30.
Deacon Tim will begin his ministry at Saint James Parish effective Monday, October 21, 2024.
